Born from Melissa Orijin's desire to give her daughter, Esi, a doll that represented her, especially after she observed Esi's confidence decline from being the only Black girl in her class. Orijin Bees creates products intentionally designed to celebrate Black and Brown children by ensuring they feel seen during play!
