My Sunday Message to You...

Sundays are my favorite day of the week. It's the day I try to recenter myself and my family. For us, our center is our faith. It's my faith that has seen my through the most challenging times of my life. It's my constant. Through the joy and through the rain.

During service today, I prayed for all of our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. My prayer centered around asking God to bless, guide, and protect each and every one of them. As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the well-being and happiness of my children. I find solace in knowing that I can turn to my faith and seek divine intervention on their behalf.

In this ever-changing and sometimes turbulent world, it can be overwhelming to raise children. We want nothing but the best for them, and we strive to provide a nurturing environment filled with love, support, and positive values. However, we also understand that there are limits to our control and influence. That's where prayer comes in.

My prayer today was a heartfelt plea to God to watch over our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews to bless them with good health, strength, and wisdom. I asked for guidance in their decision-making, that they may choose paths that align with their true purpose and bring them joy and fulfillment. I prayed that they would be surrounded by positive influences and kind-hearted individuals who would support and uplift them.

But prayer isn't just about asking for blessings; it's also about gratitude. I took a moment to express my profound gratitude for the beautiful souls that our children are. Each of them is unique, with their own talents, dreams, and aspirations. I thanked God for the love they bring into our lives.

I also prayed for the world they are growing up in. I asked for peace, compassion, and understanding to prevail. I prayed that they would be protected from harm and shielded from negativity. May their hearts remain pure and full of love, and may they always find the strength to stand up for what is right.

As parents, we do everything we can to protect our children physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We teach them about kindness, empathy, and the importance of making a positive impact on the world. But there will always be moments when we feel powerless, uncertain about the future. It is during those times that we turn to prayer especially, seeking comfort and reassurance.

Prayer reminds us that we are not alone in this journey. We have a divine source of strength and wisdom to rely on. It gives us hope, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, there is a higher power looking out for our children. We trust that our God has a plan for each of them, and we surrender our worries and fears into His hands.

So, as I conclude this Sunday reflection, I invite you to join me in prayer. Let us ask God to bless, guide, and protect our children. Let us express our gratitude for their presence in our lives and entrust their futures into His loving care. May our prayers be heard and answered, and may our children continue to thrive and flourish in the light of God's love.

Dear God,

We come before you today with humble hearts, filled with love and gratitude for our precious children. We thank you for the gift of their lives and for the joy they bring to our families. We ask for your blessings upon them, dear Lord.

Please watch over them, guide them, and protect them in all their endeavors. Grant them good health and fill their hearts with strength and courage. Help them make wise choices and lead them on the path that aligns with their true purpose.

Surround them with positive influences, dear Lord, and shield them from harm. May they be a light in the world, spreading kindness, compassion, and understanding wherever they go. Grant them the wisdom to discern right from wrong and the courage to stand up for justice and truth.

In this ever-changing world, we entrust their futures into your loving hands. We know that you have a plan for each of them, and we surrender our worries and fears to you.

Wishing you all a week of peace, abundance and blessings!!

Love,

Melissa Orijin
